5 Simple Steps to Redeem Your Fuel Points

It’s inevitable we all have to fill up our gas tank at some point and at Ralphs Fuel Centers (participating Shell gas stations), you can save up to 20¢ per gallon on fuel by redeeming your Ralph’s reward points at participating Shell fuel stations.* Simply scan your Ralph’s reward card or enter the phone number associated to your Ralph’s reward card at the pump, then choose to redeem your available fuel discount. When you are at a Shell pump the process should go like this:

  1. If paying inside, see cashier BEFORE inserting your Ralphs rewards Card.

  2. If paying at the pump, BEFORE you insert your payment card, follow the screen prompts to initiate the Ralphs discount process.

  3. Insert your Ralphs rewards Card, or manually enter your alternate ID or your Ralphs rewards Card number found on the back of your Ralphs rewards Card, your Ralphs rewards plus Visa® Card or key fob.

  4. Select your form of payment and fuel grade.

  5. Save up to 10¢ off per gallon up to a maximum of 35 gallons of fuel on a single purchase. Credit and debit card fraud prevention policies may limit transactions at the dispenser.

REWARDOPOLY HINT 1: You can combine our grocery reward strategy from our blog, “Gas up your Tummy & Your Tank,” and this article “5 Simple Steps To Redeem Your Fuel Points,” for additional tips on maximizing the Ralph’s Fuel Plan loyalty program.

REWARDOPOLY HINT 2: Shell separately from its partnership with Ralphs has its own loyalty Fuel Rewards Program. One in which you open up a Fuel Rewards account and link a credit card to. Linking your credit card to Shell’s Fuel Rewards Program and using when you are at a participating Shell station will earn you at least 5 cents a gallon for every $50 you spend. REWARDOPOLY HINT 3 – link a credit card that earns you the max points on gas purchases so you not only get points towards cheaper gas through Ralphs and Shell but now you get additional points for qualified purchases on your credit card.

That’s fuel for your pocket — three different ways.

Hey, half of the time when I use my ralphs rewards I do not get a discount even thought the pump says I will, is it better to do the transaction inside instead of at the pump? Thanks for your help

      Hi Robin,

Yes, if your card is not registering at the pump we definitely suggest going inside and having the clerk scanning your card. If that still doesn’t work their could be an issue with the information associated to the barcode. Please call Kroger at 1-800-KRO-GERS (1-800-576-4377) to inquire and confirm your loyalty information.

Great hint on linking your credit card to Shell’s rewards program. I’ll have to make that link. Thanks for sharing
